Why is it that at sunrise, light seems so cold and blue, but at sunset, it's so brilliantly orange? How odd, I just realized...
Anyway... new shoes! wheeee... custom "hand made" shoes for 100 US bucks. Now that I recite that, it sounds like a lot of money, but compared to the price of shoes these days, I guess it feels more reasonable than not.

Thank you, Billy Wang!
I'll be back to make some more after my trip to HK this weekend.
I'm designing my own shoes now.. isn't that cool? My cats are, oddly enough, stressing me out!! Anybody in Shanghai want 4 free cats? >.<

My best guess would be color spectrum. Like a rainbow, red on the outside and purple on the inside... maybe that has something to do with how the color is cut into the atmosphere.
I also own shoes that are 'hand made' in china, but they're $10 USD and I got them at Walmart...
I bet importing an s13 from Japan wouldn't be too tough either. PLUS you can pay someone $0.50 USD to change your diff fluid for you. Not to mention... you can buy ebay coilovers, body kits, and suspension pieces directly from the manufacturer! If you built a drift car, I'd come visit you.
NICE! customized shoes
do you design women's work shoes, too? i've been trying to find the right pair of professional flats...so difficult these days
my office is #99 E. HuaiHai Road, which is only a small block away from Times Square! let me know if you're ever around this area for lunch on weekdays
lots to eat around here!!
dinner next weekend
You little dandy, you!
Why are your cats stressing you out?
If we go on a vacation this year, I am petitioning in favor of China. Who knows!
those shoes are so nice. i wish i could take a trip over to china and get everything custom made for a hundred bucks!

A late reply to your question...while I wouldn't consider the move to the US a 'success' career-wise - because I gave up a really good job in Hong Kong...and for the past six months have been constantly changing my mind about what I want to do ....(right now it's grad school - but my own fickleness is killing me)...I do think it was worth it!
Guess it was just the right time ...while I do miss my hk friends and the convenience etc...NY offers a different way of life that is refreshing. It also made me realize how much I miss living in the US! In NY: things to do/food/people you meet/conversations/places to go to are more diverse - maybe also due to the fact that in hk i was pretty set in my central/cwb routines...and just needed to get out of my comfort zone...
Sounds like u really miss NY! U should try come and work here while Ren/Steph etc are still here! Pong is moving back to Singapore in Dec...and Tami - not sure where law school will take her!
am i your first mini?
